“The club is in a great position despite all the difficulties Covid presented to us last year.
“We have a really good team behind the scenes, who have worked tirelessly to prepare for the new season under the most difficult of circumstances.
“It’s great to be back playing after the uncertainty of the last few months but, like many teams, we are behind the curve having only had two weeks’ practice instead of the usual two months of indoor nets.

“We look forward to welcoming our professional, Dyllan Matthews, to the club.
“Dyllan is currently in quarantine for 10 days, so will join up with the players next week.
“I want to take this opportunity to wish all our teams the best of luck for the season and look forward to the challenges ahead.”
