Davis comes in to the defensive three in place of the injured Ashley Eastham as Uwe Rosler sticks with the 3-5-2 formation he used in the back-to-back league wins over Chesterfield and Shrewsbury.

It is Davis’ first league appearance since he scored an own goal in Town’s 2-0 defeat to Barnsley in March last season.

Rosler makes one further change to the side that beat Shrewsbury 3-0 on Tuesday night with Ash Hunter replacing Devante Cole up front.

On-loan Burnley striker Chris Long starts on the bench after serving his three match suspension.
