It's men against Boyes and new Fleetwood Town signing is ready to learn quickly
Town’s latest signing arrives on a season-long loan from Liverpool, after featuring regularly for their Under-23s under new Blackpool boss Neil Critchley – and making his first two senior appearances in cup-ties last season.
The learning curve has already begun for the 19-year-old defender as he gets used to the world of “men’s football”.

“My first session was only a light session because the lads had played the day before (beating Carlisle 4-2), but you could still feel that there is a real difference between the men’s and the U23 football.
“That’s just something you’ve got to get used to with the lads. We’ve got a great set of lads in training. I have to learn from them and take that into games.
“You can tell straight away that the lads are really giving it 100 per cent and are taking no slack. You have to do everything as well as possible. I’m looking forward to Saturday – potentially my first game (against Stockport County).”
