Here's how Pool's players rated during last night's 1-0 win...
1. MAN OF THE MATCH: Chris Maxwell - 9/10
A simply heroic performance. Made three of four stunning, miraculous saves to make sure of the points for Pool.
2. Ollie Turton - 8/10
Played further forward in a wing-back role and supported well, while also managing to keep Aiden McGeady fairly quiet.
3. Dan Ballard - 7/10
Solid display on the right of the back three as Pool kept Sunderland out for the second time in 10 days. Becoming more vocal.
4. Jordan Thorniley - 7/10
Had his hands full with 30-goal striker Charlie Wyke, who came close to scoring on two or three occasions.
5. James Husband - 7/10
Went about his business quietly and efficiently on the left of the back three. Survived a late own goal scare.
6. Luke Garbutt - 7/10
Played a little further forward at wing-back but still carried out his defensive duties well. Set-piece delivery was better.
