The Seasiders have been plagued by injury and suspension concerns over recent weeks, but it’s hoped these problems are now beginning to ease.
Here’s the current state of play ahead of Saturday’s clash against the Sky Blues:
1. Keshi Anderson (injured)
Keshi has returned to training this week following his recovery from a quad/thigh injury. The winger has made good progress but the club will take "baby steps" with him according to Michael Appleton before looking to introduce him back into the group before the World Cup break. 6. James Husband (fit)
The left-back came off with a slight niggle against Preston last week, but the defender has trained fine this week and is expected to be available. Was just a case of cramp and stiffness so was taken off as a precaution. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
