Blackpool head coach praises Seasiders' central defender

The 25-year-old, a summer arrival from Leyton Orient, is the only player to have started every league game for the Seasiders this season.
The centre-back has even added goals to his game, having netted in back-to-back matches against Wigan Athletic and Northampton Town.

Hide AdEkpiteta’s impressive displays certainly haven’t gone unnoticed among Blackpool’s fanbase, while praise has also come his way from head coach Critchley.
“He’s been outstanding,” Critchley told The Gazette. “He’s practically played every minute of every game, or not far off anyway.
“I think he’s grown in confidence, adapted to the league and, if you look at his playing history and his background, he’s always shown the capability to make the step up to the next level. He’s always found a way of coping and thriving.
“I believe he’s doing exactly that at the moment and showing what a good player he is – but I still think there’s a lot more to come from him as well.”
