Town concluded a deal with the Ewood Park club this morning which will see Morris, who played a key role in Fleetwood’s successful play-off push last season, join up again with boss Graham Alexander.

Morris arrived at Highbury in February, making his debut in the 4-0 defeat against Plymouth Argyle.

His impact and influence gradually grew, a crucial goal at Cheltenham Town securing Fleetwood’s play-off berth.

He was part of the team that beat Burton Albion 1-0 at Wembley to secure promotion to League One.

Morris will provide another option wide on the left, welcome news for Alexander with Jeff Hughes still struggling to recover from a broken leg.
