Ben Thompson is latest Fleetwood Town teenager to earn professional deal
Fleetwood Town FC continue to build for the future by offering professional contracts to young players.
Midfielder Ben Thompson has signed a deal covering the next two seasons, with the option of a further year.
The 18-year-old has been an ever-present this season for Town's title-winning Under-18s, who topped the Youth Alliance North West League.
Thompson's deal was confirmed a day after full-back Sam Bird also earned his first professional contract.
Last week Town signed two teenagers from Leeds United in forward Max McMillan and defender Connor Teale.
