AFC Fylde handed FA Cup trip to Hyde United

AFC Fylde have discovered their opponents for the next round of the FA Cup.

The Coasters have been handed a second qualifying round trip to Northern Premier League outfit Hyde United.

In all, 80 ties were drawn on Friday with the matches due to take place from October 2-5.

However, there will be no extra time or replays with matches level after 90 minutes going straight to penalties.

Victory at this stage is worth £3,375 in prize money with the losers collecting £1,125.

In terms of possible fans attendance, an FA statement said: “Following recent government announcements, we are currently working with government on arrangements for Emirates FA Cup ties (including spectators). We will hopefully be able to provide an update to clubs on this early next week.”

Last season saw the Coasters make it to the third round, where they were beaten 2-1 at Sheffield United.
