Nigel Norton is alleged to have broken the orders after becoming involved with a mum and two seven-year-old girls.

Norton, a 36-year-old call centre worker, of Powell Avenue, Marton, is charged with breaching an indefinite Sex Offences Prevention Order between March and September this year.

It’s alleged he did not notify police of an address where he had spent at least 12 hours where children aged 18 or under stayed.

He is also charged with breaching a 10-year Sex Offenders Register order which banned him from
having any unsupervised contact with any female
under 16, unless with the consent of the child’s parent or guardian or fleeting or
inadvertent contact.

Defence lawyer, John McLaren, said his client had indicated he would plead not guilty to both offences.

Pam Smith, prosecuting, asked for the case to be heard at crown court.

Norton was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on November 2 by Blackpool magistrates.
