Woman suffers serious leg injuries in town centre crash
A woman has been taken to hospital with severe leg injuries following a collision in Blackpool.
The incident happened at around 1.30pm in Buchanan Street.
The woman, a pedestrian, was involved in a collision with a car.
She has been taken by ambulance to the Royal Preston Hospital.
Police said the woman also sustained minor head injuries in the collision.
Buchanan Street remains closed with roads also blocked at the junctions with Talbot Road and Grovesnor Street.
