Hide AdThe event – which took place in the newly-refurbished fitness studio – raised £1,200 for Lara’s Foundation.
Lara Jones, from Goosnargh, near Preston, was a 26-year-old teacher, teaching English to non-native speakers of all backgrounds from around the world.
Lara’s Foundation was established in her name, so the dedication and kindness she showed towards her students could continue, in spite of her death while travelling in Cuba, in March 2012.
The goal of Lara’s Foundation is to assist in increasing English Language capacity in low-income communities around the world.
