Crash involving motorbike closes Blackpool Promenade in both directions

Blackpool Promenade South was closed in both directions following a road traffic collision.

The collision occurred between Shaw Road and Crystal Road, South Shore, at approximately 11am on Friday (October 28).

The incident reportedly involved a car and a motorbike, according to the AA.

Police closed the road in both directions following the crash as paramedics worked at the scene.

Traffic was coping well following the closure.

Lancashire Police and North West Ambulance Service have been approached for more information.
