Delays on M55 after HGV fire
Delays are reported on the eastbound M55 this morning following a fire.
Traffic was held between junctions 3 and 1 for Broughton at around 7.30am on Thursday, July 5.
Highways England reports that a wheel caught fire on the vehicle which spread to tinder dry grass on the central reservation causing a small fire.
Firefighters attended the scene.
All traffic was released at around 7.45am.
