Star effort from solicitor Daniel
Former Lytham St Annes Technology and Performing Arts College pupil Daniel Lund was presented with the City of London Solicitors’ Company Prize for 2014.
The 25-year-old, of Agnew Street, Lytham, was also given a cheque for £600 to recognise his achievement.

Hide AdHe has now secured a post with American law firm Dechert, based in London.
A spokesman for his new employers said: “Congratulations to Dan Lund, who recently was recognised as the winner of the City of London Solicitors’ Company Prize for 2014.
“The award is given each year to a trainee solicitor at a firm practicing in London or the surrounding area who shows the most promise as a future city solicitor.
“We look forward to seeing what he will do next when he qualifies as a solicitor this autumn and becomes a member of our London litigation team.”
Daniel, a graduate of Durham University, is pictured above, right, with David McIntosh QC, Master of the City of London Solicitors’ Company at the awards ceremony.
