Residents praise council’s value

Almost 85 per cent of residents say Fylde Council represents value for money, according to statistics released by the authority.

A total of 2,488 people have visited the council’s website so far to have their say on the services it provides.

Overall there was a 1.5 per cent improvement in satisfaction ratings compared to last year.

CounDavid Eaves, Fylde Council leader, said: “Our aim has been to meet tough financial challenges while, at the same time, retaining high-quality local services.

“The latest satisfaction figures from the people we serve show that we are achieving this.

“The survey isn’t just about Fylde Council – it is about life in Fylde generally.

“I’m particularly pleased that people recognise Fylde is an attractive and safe place to live.”
