Funeral date set for Lytham crash victim

The service for Brendan Kiely will be at St Peter’s RC Church at 11am, followed by burial at Bury Cemetery, close to his previous home.
Covid restrictions means attendance at the funeral will be by invitation only but it will be live streamed and the family has asked for any donations in lieu of flowers to go to Brake, the road safety charity.

Hide AdMr Kiely, 54, a property developer, was hit by a Ford Mondeo in Ballam Road, where he lived, on the evening of Thursday, April 1, before being declared dead at the scene by a paramedic shortly after at 9.51pm.
Mr Kiely leaves behind a partner Sue, children Harrison, Elli and Anya, his father Daniel, five brothers and a sister.
