A provisional date of Sunday, June 27 has been set for the third Classic Car Rally organised in aid of the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
The date is just six days after that which Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said will be the earliest that all Covid restrictions will be lifted and rally organisers are hopeful it will go ahead.

When the rally was last held in 2019, after making its debut the previous year, it raised £8,822 for Rosemere’s campaign to build one of the country’s first acute cancer triage units at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
It attracted more than 1,000 people to admire more than 100 vehicles of all vintages, shapes and sizes and organiser Edward Cook said: “It will be good to be back.
“It’s always a popular event in what is a magnificent setting and it is good to raise funds for a very important charity.”
