St Annes Central PACT (Police and Communities Together) forum was held in the town’s Square for the first time in a bid to encourage a greater turnout by members of the public after disappointing attendances at the monthly meetings held at the town’s YMCA.

The idea of going out on the road with the meetings has proved successful in the Fairhaven and Ansdell ward and Central officials have decided to try out the idea on monthly market days until November.
