Malcolm Isherwood, prosecuting, said police went to the area of Revoe Library where two men had been reported as fighting on February 2 at 9.10pm.

Bunting was there. He said he had been kicked to the head by his friend. Bunting then started knocking at the door of an address on Central Drive which he said his friend had gone into.

He said goodbye to the officers several times and waved his hands at them.

He then started kicking at the door and was arrested.
