Lunch raises cash for 999 crew

The Ladies Who Lunch event, held at Ribby Hall Village, Wrea Green, featured a raffle, three-course meal and the latest fashion trends.

Barclaycard matched the amount raised by the raffle – which included prizes such as £100 store voucher for JR Taylor, jewellery from Catricia Jewellery, an aqua thermal and afternoon tea for two at Ribby’s Spa Hotel and three month gym membership at Ribby Hall – bringing the total to £2,140.

Guests were able to tuck into crayfish and smoked salmon tarts, paupiette of turkey with spiced port jus, accompanied by fondant potato and parsnip puree and layered trifle to finish.

JR Taylor’s department store in St Annes displayed the latest fashions for autumn and winter with a fashion show, featuring labels such as Gant, Ted Baker, Armani and Betty Barclay, along with tips for dressing for the party season. And Fascination of Lytham provided perfume samples.
