Officers with Project ADDER - the town's new drug-busting squad - raided the homes in Bright Street and Central Drive on Friday (January 29) after securing warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
After gaining entry to the terraced home in Bright Street, officers discovered heroin, crack cocaine and a "significant" supply of cash.

He has since been released under investigation.
The drugs squad then visited the home in Central Drive where officers found a small amount of synthetic cannabinoids - commonly known as spice.
No arrests were made but the force said enquiries are ongoing.
A police spokesman said: "Last week we introduced the enforcement team working on Project ADDER - a Home Office initiative which is running in Blackpool to tackle drugs - and we want to give you an update on some of the work they have been doing.

"It is information we receive from our communities that help us to gather the intelligence we need to take action against drugs.
"Please help us by reporting any signs that point to drug dealing or other illegal activities."
Project ADDER, which launched last week, will see Blackpool's police, council and health services work together to tackle the root causes of drugs and breakdown supply chains.
