Fire crewed rush to flat fire after 999 caller reported someone trapped inside
Two fire engines from Blackpool and one from South Shore made their way to Park Road in Blackpool when the 999 call came in at around 7.20pm
When the crews arrived they found no-one to be trapped inside and no-one had been injured.

Hide AdA spokesman for the fire service said: "The fire badly damaged the lounge and bedroom in the flat
"We went in put out the fire and although an investigation is still ongoing into the cause, it looks likely to be cooking related."
Scott Middleton says he was near the flat when it was on fire.
He said: "I went in before the fire brigade arrived I got 13 people out of there including three in the flat next door to them. The fire alarm failed when I broke it on the ground floor.
