Cyclist injured in Prom crash
An elderly cyclist was left with head injuries following a collision with a car on Blackpool Promenade.
Police and ambulance services were called to the scene outside The Dutchman Hotel at around 7.30pm.
The man, believed to be in his 70s, was taken to hospital following the incident which involved a blue Vauxhall Astra.
The road was closed temporarily with traffic diverted away from the scene.
No arrests were made.
