"Suspicious and aggressive" men target motorhome owners in Blackpool and Fleetwood

PSCO Charly Gradwell has been investigating reports in Fleetwood where a pair of "pushy" men with Irish accents have confronted people about their motorhomes.
The men, who have been seen driving a silver Land Rover or Range Rover, raised suspicions after knocking on people's doors and offering to buy their motorhomes.

Hide AdSome people have said the men became "aggressive" and "confrontational" when people ask them to leave. Others say the men appeared to take pictures of their motorhomes with their phones.
Police say they are unsure of the men's intentions, but are urging those who own motorhomes in Fleetwood to remain aware and ensure their vehicles are secured.
Reports have also been received in Cleveleys, Staining and Preesall.
PSCO Charly Gradwell said: "We've had reports this evening (Tuesday, February 9) of men knocking on doors in Fleetwood and Blackpool asking the owners of motor homes in they're for sale.

Hide Ad"It is believed the two men, who were driving a silver Land/Range Rover, were acting suspiciously and being aggressive in their demeanor.
"It is believed that they spoke with an Irish accent. If you have a motorhome, please ensure it is fully secured and let us know if you see any suspicious activity by phoning 101."
