Recycling bins were set alight in a spate of arson attacks in Blackpool, prompting Lancashire Police to issue a CCTV appeal.

The incidents happened in Ashfield Road on October 29, police said.

Officers said a man was spotted setting a recycling bin on fire before walking off during the night.

Detectives on Wednesday (December 21) issued a CCTV image of a man they wanted to speak to in connection with the offence.
