Police out to tackle anti-social behaviour in South Shore - starting this evening
Blackpool's South Shore Police will be out in force this weekend ready to respond to any incidents of anti-social behaviour.
Officers will also be patrolling the areas that local residents have raised as concerns.
A police spokesman said this evening: "We are currently patrolling the grassed area on Langdale Road, Mereside due to local residents informing ourselves recently that youths had been attempted to cause damage here.
"We are happy to say that there are no issues at the moment but we will be patrolling all weekend and checking."
