David Holic, of Falmouth Road, Blackpool arrived for his shift at Glasdon manufacturers in Preston New Road carrying an arrow with a bizarre and chilling message inscribed on it.
On its shaft he had carved the message: "I have reason...I don't need more to take a life." He told colleagues the message was intended for a staff member at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
