Hide AdPolice today publicised the attack in the hope of identifying a number of people caught of CCTV cameras. The force said one of the men punched the victim to the ground and, when he got back to his feet, a second man punched him down again. The other man and woman were witnesses but did not get involved.
Det Con Queenie Chan, from Blackpool Police, said: “We realise the CCTV is not the best quality but we are hoping someone may recognise the people pictured as we try to investigate this serious incident.”
Pier Jam is a yearly festival held on North Pier. In 2016, two brothers were caged for more than 20 years after ferocious knife attack on a fellow reveller there.
