Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving after car smashes into garden wall in Singleton
A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a car ploughed through the wall of a property in Singleton, say police.
Patrols were called to the scene at around 1.15am on Monday, August 13 to reports of a crash on Mains Lane near to the Shell Garage.
Ambulance services also attended but police say the man who was driving is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.

Hide AdA police spokesman said: "We received reports from a member of the public that a car had left the road and was half on the road and half on the pavement.
"It seems it damaged a wall in the process.
"A man was breathalysed and arrested on suspicion of drink driving."
