CCTV APPEAL: Homophobic comments at Blackpool McDonald's

A man directed "homophobic and offensive comments" to another man in a fast food restaurant in Blackpool, say police.

The man, who was believed to be with a woman and a child in the pram, is reported to have made the comments at the McDonald's in Rigby Road on May 6 at around 8.45pm.

Following the complaint police launched a CCTV appeal on Thursday to help identify a man, they say, may be able to help with their investigation.

A police spokesman said: "We received reports of a man making offensive and homophobic comments to another man at the McDonald's.

"It seems a man who was unknown to the aggrieved made offensive comments to him.

"The man who made the comments was in the company of a woman and child in a pram at the time."

The man is described as white, with black cropped hair and around 5ft 10ins tall.
