Blackpool man remains in custody after being arrested for attempted murder at Carleton Crematorium

He has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man in his 40s was stabbed repeatedly outside Carleton Crematorium at around 1.45pm.

The victim suffered stab wounds to his chest and shoulder and was rushed to Blackpool Victoria Hospital, where his condition is described as 'serious but stable'.
