The three-bedroom home, on the corner of Hayfield Avenue, would house two children, who would be looked after by ‘no more than two carers at any one time’, if planners give the go ahead.

The youngsters would be in full-time education, and the house would mimic that of an average family home, papers said.

“The operations of the use of the property are intended, for the benefit of the children, to mirror the routine of a normal home,” they added.
