Blackpool's new police station opens its front counter for the first time
The new station on Gerry Richardson Way, opened its front counter on Monday where members of the public can make enquiries, report crimes or hand in lost property.
£21m has been spent on the new headquarters to replace Blackpool’s Bonny Street police station, which was built in the 1970s and is no longer fit for purpose as police chiefs said it is “falling down”.

Hide AdBonny Street's old site has already been sold to Blackpool Council as the site has been earmarked for redevelopment.
The new desk is open for to the public between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
