Police were called by the North West Ambulance Service at around 6.30am on Friday March 11 after a report that a baby was in a serious condition.

Court documents have the incident address as Gordon Road, however police logs say the incident took place in Warren Street.

The two-month-old baby girl, Daisy Mae Burrill, was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital having suffered a suspected cardiac arrest. She was later transferred to Manchester Children’s Hospital and died on Monday, March 14.

Police have only just released the information.
