In fact, the 25-year-old will be happy to take it in his stride as all part of the fun of the Mongol Rally, in which he and friend Lee Marriott are taking part.
Described by enthusiasts as ‘the greatest adventure on the planet’, the event is a first-ever rally for the pair.

Hide AdThey set off from Blackpool’s South Beach and joined a convoy of 11 vehicles on the way south before taking a ferry to the Continent, where many more vehicles are set to join in ahead of the official start near Prague on Monday.
It annually attracts hundreds of teams who weave their way 10,000 miles across Europe and Asia to reach the Siberian town of Ulan Ude.
Alastair works as a specialist practitioner in theatre at Blackpool and the Fylde College and is also a casual technician at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre.
He and Lee, who hails from Kent, feel the chance to take part in the rally as ‘a dream come true’.

Hide Ad“We heard about it years ago and have always been keen to be involved,” said Alastair.
“We’re in a 1995 Ford Fiesta and are looking forward to a great adventure.
“Breaking down in exotic places is all part of the fun and there are sure to be some great adventures along the way.”
Alastair is being cheered on from back home in Thornton by partner Caroline and daughters Abigail, seven, and Sapphire, just 10 months.
He and Lee are raising funds for the charity Special Effect, which uses technology and video games to help those with physical disabilities.
