- But, staff at one Blackpool school were determined it will end on a high note - and called on a couple of surprise guests to add to the fun.

There was no audience because of social distancing rules. However, staff found a way round this as the children were each filmed in their own little classes and bubbles and the entire show is being put together to make a film for parents. Photo: Dan Martino

Headteacher Amanda Stokes said all the pupils took part. Early Years took the main parts of the story - with nursery children dressing up as the animals, and Reception dressed as the three wise men, shepherds, angels and of course Mary and Joseph, along with some narrators. Photo: Dan Martino
