South Shore Academy, a proud member of Bright Futures Educational Trust, will be welcoming the next generation of students to an open evening on Tuesday, September 20.

Parents and potential pupils will be welcome to meet staff and explore this thriving school on St Annes Road between 4pm to 7pm.

Head of School Rebecca Warhurst will outline the school's vision along with its core values of ambition, respect, and resilience during the event.

"At South Shore Academy our vision is for all students to be confident, independent and resilient learners who leave with limitless possibilities to fulfil all their future ambitions, becoming well rounded, positive global citizens who make a difference," says Mrs Warhurst, who took up her post in October 2021.

"This is a school designed to support and develop its local community and everything we do is driven by our three core values. Our firm belief in these three values ensures our dedication to high quality education for everyone within the South Shore Academy’s community.”

The school, which achieved the School Games GOLD Mark Award for the past academic year, offers access to a wide range of educational opportunities, both academic and extra-curricular, to prepare students for their future and open their prospects for further development.
