Blackpool care at home group to create 100 jobs on Fylde coast

The Alcedo Care Group, has unveiled significant growth plans for 2021, creating up to 750 jobs across the North West, with 100 in the resort where it has offices off Amy Johnson Way.
In January, the family run firm appointed 95 new staff. In the coming months, Alcedo Care forecasts a further 500 permanent new positions, approximately 100 at each of its existing offices located in Blackpool, Southport, St Helens, Preston and Lancaster.

Hide AdA further five offices are planned to open this year too, with another 250 jobs required to support this expansion.
Established in 2017, the company is run by husband and wife team Andy and Jo Boardman, Their aim was to create a care company which brought something different to the sector based on recruiting only the very best carers and retaining them by placing value on job satisfaction, training, continued professional development, internal promotion prospects and pay structure.
