"The club has been a huge part of the night time economy for over three years, entertaining hundreds of thousands of people along the way.
"But, unfortunately, the club in its current form is no longer a viable business.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff for their hard work and of course thank all the customers that partied with us."

Hide AdHome & HQ opened in 2016 following a £1.5 million refurbishment by former owners Mike and Sandra Nordwind, who sold the club in August 2019.
But the club's current management also revealed plans to open a new superclub.
"We will be looking at the venue in the coming months and working on plans to hopefully bring Blackpool a three roomed superclub in the future", it said.
Jack Boon, 24, had been the club's self-employed, in-house sound engineer and DJ.

"Staff were called in for an "emergency meeting" on Tuesday and I was informed by phone call from one of the directors before it went public", said Jack.
"They said thank you for your help and we will be in touch in the future if we need you when and if we do something else with the building.
"That was it. None of the other clubs have offered me work within my sector as of yet.

He said some of the staff have been provided with redundancy payment, but only those employed directly by the company.
Jack, who had worked at the club for two years, thanked its former owners who gave him the opportunity to DJ at one of the resort town's biggest nightclubs.
"The only people from the club who have offered me any kind of support are the former owners the Nordwind family", said Jack.

The original version of this story stated that the club was owned by Mike and Sandra Nordwind.
This is inaccurate - the Norwinds sold the club in August 2019 and are no longer associated with the club.
