Lytham Hall's outdoor four-play theatre season opens on Sunday with Wuthering Heights, with Emily-Rose Hurdiss as Catherine in her first appearance for Lincoln-based Chapterhouse.

The actress admits: “After five weeks of rehearsals I can’t wait for our tour to start.”

Blackpool-trained Aaron Charles, who plays brooding Heathcliff, is looking forward to returning to the hall’s superb setting. “I am optimistic that our tour will get off to an encouraging start in front of a Lytham audience which is always knowledgeable and enthusiastic.” Tickets are selling well with more available on the night. Gates open at 4pm and the play starts at 6pm.
