Fans of cricket – or just of wonderful anecdotes and the occasional tall tale – have a real treat in store next month when the highly acclaimed Blofeld and Baxter: Rogues on the Road tour stops off in Lancashire.
Following a hugely successful tour of their show in 2015, Blowers and Backers are back at Chorley Little Theatre by popular demand with a show crammed full of even more wonderful (and occasionally outrageous) anecdotes from two extensive careers spent broadcasting around the globe.
The bastions of the beloved Test Match Special with more than80 years in the commentary box and touring the globe between them, Henry and Peter have some great stories to tell.
Henry ‘My Dear Old Thing’ Blofeld is one of Britain’s most loved and recognisable broadcasters, while legendary producer of TMS Peter Baxter has been corralling lost passports, misplaced visas, and errant broadcasters for 34 years.
Between them they have seen plenty of shenanigans across the years and across the globe, so come ready to be shocked and entertained by good men behaving badly.
Blofeld and Baxter: Rogues on the Road can be enjoyed at Chorley Little Theatre on Sunday, April 10.
Tickets cost £18.50 and are available from Malcolm’s Musicland (01257 264362) or by visiting www.chorleylittletheatre.com.
