TWO giants of the British folk scene are heading to Fleetwood’s Marine Hall next month.
A spectacular evening of music will see Pentangle’s John Renbourn and Incredible String Band’s Robin Wiliamson performing together on Saturday, April 16, from 8pm.
John Renbourn is best known for his collaborations with Bert Jansch, and his time with the legendary folk/jazz fusion band Pentangle.
Scottish multi-instrumentalist, musician, singer, songwriter and master Celtic storyteller Robin Williamson made his name as a member of the Incredible String Band between 1966 and 1974.
John and Robin will be performing both their own solo material at the concert, as well as playing as a duo.
Their live album Wheel Of Fortune, released in 1995, was nominated for a Grammy.
Tickets, costing £14, are now available from the Marine Hall box office.
