As well as playing concerts, he currently works as the examiner and artistic director of the Lykeion Ton Hellinidon in his native Cyprus and he is also a jury member of the Panmusica Piano competition in Vienna.

His CV speaks for itself; in 2010, he was commissioned by the Cyprus Ministry of Culture to compose a large scale work for ‘Treasured Island’, which appeared in London’s Cadogan Hall, after it’s premiere in Cyprus.

The same year, he was also chosen by his country to perform at a special concert at the British Museum, celebrating 50 years of independence for Cyprus, and a year later, the President of Cyprus honoured him with a lifelong Grant, in recognition for his services to music.

The concert will take place on Friday, March 31 at Blackpool Sixth Form College theatre. For enquiries, call 01253 724472 or visit www.northfyldemusiccircle.org.uk.
