AFTER a week of intense training in Austria, Fleetwood Town are ready for action, with four friendlies scheduled for the next ten days.

They kick-off at Highbury tomorrow with a behind-closed-doors match against Gateshead.

They head to Accrington Stanley on Saturday to face a Blackburn Rovers XI in a triangular competition, then visit Stockport County next Tuesday before welcoming Oldham to Highbury on Friday week.

Manager Micky Mellon says his squad have already been doing plenty of ballwork after returning from their close-season break in excellent shape.

Mellon said: “The players are in great shape, so we have been able to get the footballs out and get some brilliant work done.”
