Revealed: The strongest fortresses in League One - and how Fleetwood Town measure up

Fleetwood Town look destined to settle for mid-table obscurity in League One this season.

The Cod Army are currently 15th in the table, nine points off the play-off places with seven games to play.

Interestingly, if the league table was decided on away form alone, Town would be in exactly the same position, albeit a point closer to the top six.

If the standings were based solely on home form, however, Fleetwood would be 10th in the league, just two points off the play-off spots with a superior goal difference to many of the sides above them.

Town have won eight of their 20 home fixtures to date, drawing seven and losing five.

But how does that form compare to their home record over the past decade?

Bankrate.com have run the number on every League One side to see who has built up the strongest home fortress over the past 10 years.
