Fleetwood Town start at home to Crewe

Fleetwood Town will open their debut League One campaign at home to Crewe Alexandra.

The Railwaymen visit Highbury on August 9 at 3pm to set the ball rolling on Fleetwood’s first ever season in the third tier of English football.

The first away test for Graham Alexander’s men comes a week later at Notts County, followed by an early midweek away adventure to Scunthorpe.

Town fans will have to wait until October for the hotly-anticipated trip to Deepdale, Town’s date with Preston North End set for Saturday October 25.

The return fixture at Highbury will be on March 28.

Fleetwood host Sheffield United on December 13 , travelling to Bramall Lane on March 7.

Town host Bradford City on Boxing Day and end their season away at Port Vale.
