Fleetwood Town have moved to solve their defensive crisis with the signing of two Premier League defenders on loan.
Leicester City’s Joe Davis - the son of Crewe boss Steve - and Stoke City’s Dionatan Teixeira both join on an initial month-long deal.
Davis, 21, started his career at Port Vale before moving to the King Power.
Brazilian born Slovak defender Teixeira has played just once for the Potteries club and had attracted interest from Championship sides before agreeing the move to Highbury.
19-year-old goalkeeper Aleksandar Gogic also joins the club until the end of the season after impressing against Town in a development squad game last month.
All three are expected to go into the squad for today’s trip to Scunthorpe.
