Fleetwood Town are hoping to do a deal with Everton to bring David Henen back to Highbury.
The 19-year-old Belgian has missed the last two games having picked up an ankle injury in the Boxing Day draw at Shrewsbury.
He is back with the Goodison Park club receiving medical treatment but Fleetwood boss Steven Pressley is looking to get a deal done within the next few days, Henen's current loan having expired after Saturday's 2-0 victory over Bury.
Pressley said;"David Henen is back with Everton but we're hoping to have something done with him in the next week, to bring stability to him at the club.
"I hope it'll be to the end of the season.
"That'll be our intent."
