These pictures show the ride being installed at the park in recent days, after a lengthy construction and testing process in Germany.

And flight tests have been taking place too, with an exclusive video to view on The Gazette’s website.

The £2m ride is a unique partnership between the Red Arrows and the Pleasure Beach, where thrill-seekers take control of their own aeroplane to become a master of

the skies on the new ride.

Complete in Red Arrows livery, the brand new ride will also feature its own control tower from which novice pilots will be prepared for take-off in the shadow of the Big

The 72ft high, 12-seat white-knuckle ride will take riders on a 360-degree tour of the skies. Stepping into the cockpit, you take control of the aeroplane and spin, glide and take formation in your very own display.
